About IcebreakerSpot

We're for the person holding the marker.

The one who booked the room, opened the call, and now has to make thirty strangers feel like a team. That first five minutes is our entire subject.

Why this exists

IcebreakerSpot started in 2023, when founder Jon Zajac kept running into the same problem: finding a good icebreaker for his team, quickly, was harder than it should have been. So he built the site he wanted — one place where leaders like him could find the right activity fast.

Every meeting, class, and offsite starts the same way: a room full of people who don't quite know each other yet, and one person responsible for fixing that. That person usually has about four minutes of prep time and a search bar full of listicles.

IcebreakerSpot is the fix — the definitive hub for icebreakers and team-building activities. Every activity is written the same way: how long it takes, how many people it fits, what you need, and how to run it, step by step. Filter by the constraints you actually have and walk in prepared.

warmth, but organized.

What we believe

Specific beats hypedWe'll never tell you an activity is "epic." We'll tell you it takes twelve minutes, fits fifteen people, and needs nothing but a pen. The numbers do the selling.
The first five minutes decide the meetingGroups that laugh in minute three talk honestly in minute thirty. An icebreaker isn't a warm-up for the real work — it's the part that makes the real work possible.
Everyone gets pulled into the circleThe best activities have no spectators. Every format we publish gives the quietest person in the room a turn that doesn't terrify them.

About the huddle

Our logo is a huddle seen from above — a team circled around a warm spot, the way chairs get pulled together before every good icebreaker.

Look closely and one dot is different: pale glacier blue. That's the newcomer — the new hire, the transfer student, the person who just joined the call — mid-thaw, being pulled into the circle. It's the only place cold appears in our whole brand, and it never stays cold for long. That's the job.
